Steve Hammond is a lifelong resident of Lancaster County with a deep commitment to service, both in his community and his career. Shortly after the 9/11 attacks, he started serving as a volunteer firefighter and later took up the trade of helping people and saving lives by working for the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.
While working for the Fire Department, he decided to enlist in the United States Marine Corps and served as a Machine Gunner and later as a scout sniper with the 2nd Battalion 2nd Marines. After 3 tours and being honorably discharged, he returned to work for the fire department and served in special operations for many years. Those years of service have instilled many character traits, virtues, and core values.
These are the tools that help guide and anchor our business. Integrity, honor, and commitment remain at the forefront. Steve has stayed involved in the community and has volunteered with the local fire department, assisted with the local Cub Scouts, and helped coach baseball. He currently lives in Mount Joy with a family of 5 and an energetic Bernerdoodle dog.
